California's "dream team": Jennifer and Gavin Newsom hit schools with 'woke' ideology

The governor's wife writes and directs films that are screened for more than 2.6 million students. The videos "feature porn, political reinforcement, and her husband.”

The governor of California’s wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, is a nonprofit founder, entrepreneur and filmmaker. Together with her husband in the OpenTheBooks organization, they are ironically referred to as "a dream team.” However, they expose that many things are hidden behind what the cameras capture or the image they want to give to society:

How Jennifer Siebel Newsom used taxpayer money to trade herself, her nonprofit and her for-profit business.

Jennifer's foundation

Siebel Newsom's charity called The Representation Project is dedicated to promoting"gender justice." According to its tax documents, it is "committed to building a prosperous and inclusive society through film, education and social activism."

The organization promoted and produced four movies that are rented to individuals, companies and schools. Schools pay between $49 and $599 to show these films to children, which also include their own curriculum that in many activities aims to involve students in social and political activism.

Siebel Newsom is the writer and director of all the films and two of them feature her husband, Governor Newsom. According to OpenTheBooks:

Siebel Newsom's films, which are screened in high schools, feature porn, radical gender ideologies and her husband Gavin.

Children subjected to gender ideology

A report about the organization's impact on society revealed that from 2011 to 2021, more than 11,200 copies of the curricula were distributed, and the films  were watched by more than 2.6 million students. 5,000 schools have shown the videos and are basing their instruction on the educational standards in Newsom's plans.

After viewing the videos and reading the lesson plans, OpenTheBook auditors described them as "shocking" and stated that they have "sexually explicit images and political reinforcement."

Children forced to watch The Representation Project films in schools are not only subjected to gender ideology, sexually explicit images and Gavin Newsom's phrases. They are given a leftist framework through which to view the world, and then encouraged to engage in social and political activism.

From students to activists

The film curricula advise various forms of action that encourage “students to become activists within their families and communities.” Suggested activities include promoting the organization's campaigns on social media and asking students to "market and organize a screening" of the videos by paying a fee to the organization.

In 2021, participants in one of the organization's film courses attended a panel discussion moderated by Siebel Newsom to discuss one of the videos. One student stated, "There is no age limit to activism...the younger you are, the easier it is for you to see these changes that need to be made." Siebel Newsom responded, "Great, thank you."

Tax payer dollars

OpenTheBooks exposes that taking advantage of her status as California's first lady, the filmmaker solicited state vendors and campaign donors for large amounts of money. In addition, she also received public tax funds through the schools:

The organization transforms public school expenditures into activist training and, in the process, exposes children to objectionable sexual content. Various sources of funding translate directly into economic benefits for Jennifer Siebel Newsom (...) Since the founding of The Representation Project, she has collected $1,501,727 in salary. Her current position is Creative Director, and she also serves on the nonprofit's board of directors. She is the highest paid executive in her organization, with an annual salary of $150,000 between 2013 and 2021.

The site reached out to Jennifer Siebel Newsom, her organization, and Governor Newsom for a comment, but didn’t receive a response.
