Biden makes Respect for Marriage Act official by inviting controversial drag queen to the White House

Marti Cummings, an advocate for spreading the drag movement among children and an anti-police activist, was invited to the official signing of the bill after its passage in Congress.

The Respect for Marriage Act establishes "statutory authority for same-sex and interracial marriages and repeals provisions of law that once prevented any State or territory from being required to give effect to a same-sex marriage from another State or territory." President Joe Biden signed the bill into law on Tuesday at an event where he was surrounded by artists and celebrities, some of them controversial due to their radical attitudes.

One example was the presence of drag queen Marti Cummings, an activist of the drag movement whose posts on social media did not go unnoticed among users. After announcing on Instagram that he was invited to the White House, several journalists retweeted some of Cummings' old tweets with controversial content. Among them, one said: "the kids are out to sing and suck D!"

In other posts, Cummings, who describes himself on his website as a "drag performer, television personality and political figure," claims to be an advocate of the so-called 'Drag Hour,' in which transvestite men read stories to children; or insult the police using terms such as ACAB or F*** the police, reports Fox News.

Along with Marti Cummings, several icons of the gay community attended the White House event, including Treasury Secretary Pete Buttigieg and musical artists Sam Smith and Cyndi Lauper. At the end of the performance, the presidential building was lit up with rainbow colors in support of the LGBT movement.

The new law will force all states to recognize same-sex marriages. It will also protect interracial unions by forcing states to recognize marriages regardless of "sex, race, ethnicity or national origin," something that already occurs in theory but still did not prevent a lobbying movement from calling for this legislation to be drafted.

The objective, according to its promoters, is to protect this right and prevent possible court rulings such as the one that reversed Roe vs. Wade and limited abortion to do the same to these types of marital unions.
