A senior Hamas official revealed that the attack on Israel began to be planned two years ago, just after the disaster in Afghanistan

“We made them think that Hamas was busy with governing Gaza,” said Ali Baraka, a senior official within the terrorist group.

On Sunday, October 8, just 24 hours after Hamas carried out a massive Attack against Israel across the Gaza border, leaving thousands dead, injured and dozens kidnapped, a senior official of the terrorist group revealed in an interview with Russia Today TV, how they orchestrated the penetration into Israeli soil, outwitting the Western intelligence apparatus.

“We have been preparing for this for two years. We have local factories for everything. We have rockets with ranges of 250 kms, 160 kms, 80 kms, 45 kms, and 10 kms,” said Ali Baraka, Hamas's head of national relations abroad, according to a transcribed translation of the Middle East Media Research Institute.

More than two years ago, President Joe Biden had arrived at the White House and, months later, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan had been completed, ending with the Taliban once again taking control of the country.

Baraka, in addition to revealing how long it took them to plan the attack, also commented that Hamas has a Russian license to manufacture Kalashnikov bullets and that the terrorist group received support from Iran, a claim that casts doubt on the Biden Administration's claims that there is still no evidence that Iran participated in the operation.

“We have factories for mortars and their shells. We have factories for manufacturing B-7 and B-10 guns and their shells. We have factories for manufacturing Kalashnikov rifles and their bullets. We have a Russian license to produce Kalashnikov bullets in Gaza,” Baraka said. “Our allies are those that support us with weapons and money. First and foremost it is Iran that is giving us money and weapons. There is also Hizbullah, and the Arab and Islamic people who are standing by us.”

The senior official also explained that his organization wants to negotiate the release of Hamas terrorists who are in the United States.

“There are also prisoners in the U.S. We want them. Of course. There are Hamas members sentenced for life in the U.S. We want them too. Of course. We demand that the U.S. free our sons from prisons. The U.S. conducts prisoner swaps. Only recently, it did one with Iran. Why wouldn’t it conduct a prisoner swap with us? After all, it is participating in this war,” said the terrorist group official, who also called Biden a “partner to this aggression” of Israel against “the Palestinian people.”

Finally, the senior official explained how they were able to deceive Israeli and American intelligence by showing a false image of moderation to the world.

“We made them think that Hamas was busy with governing Gaza, and that it wanted to focus on the 2.5 million Palestinians and has abandoned the resistance altogether,” Baraka revealed. “All the while, under the table, Hamas was preparing for this big attack.”
