The Celtics would be the first team to come back from 3-0 down in NBA history
With this result, Joe Mazzulla's team became the fifteenth (out of 150) to force a sixth game after falling 3-0 down. If they were to complete the comeback, they would make history as the first ever NBA franchise to do so.
Boston's victory was based on teamwork over individuality. It started with solid defense, and four players hit the 20-point threshold: Derrick White (24), Marcus Smart (23), Jayson Tatum (21) and Jaylen Brown (21), the first time they have done so this season.
