This Wednesday, the FBI searched another property of President Joe Biden as part of the ongoing investigation into the mishandling of classified documents and notes from his time as vice president. The federal agency arrived in the morning hours at the beach house outside Rehoboth Beach, Del. to conduct another search for classified material.
According to the president's personal attorney, Bob Bauer, no documents "with classified markings" were found on the property. However, "some materials and handwritten notes" were taken for additional review.
"The DOJ’s planned search of the president’s Rehoboth residence, conducted in coordination and cooperation with the president’s attorneys, has concluded," Bauer said, adding that the search was conducted from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
At this time, the FBI has not released any details of the search. According to the BBC, there was no need for a search warrant, as all parties consented to the investigation. The president's lawyer also stated that the search was conducted with no prior notice for the sake of "operational security and integrity."
"I hope it's not a setup...we got to drill down and get the real facts, because it's serious."

White House kept FBI inspection secret
The search of the president's summer home came just one day after it was revealed that the White House concealed an additional FBI inspection of the in the offices at the Penn Biden Center days after the first search was conducted, in which about 10 classified documents were found.
Following the original findings, authorities found more classified files in the president's Wilmington, Del. home. It is estimated that 25 to 30 documents have already been recovered from Biden's possession to date.
