Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives to vote on a possible impeachment of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
Taylor Greene on Thursday filed an impeachment resolution against Mayorkas for "blatantly violating his oath of office" by "aiding and abetting the complete invasion" of the country. The representative's measure was presented as "privileged," requiring the vote to be carried out within two legislative days. However, as the House is adjourned until Monday, the decision is expected to be made next week.
BREAKING: I just filed privileged Articles of Impeachment on Secretary Mayorkas.
Yesterday, two Americans from my district in Dalton, GA were killed in a high-speed head-on collision at the hands of human traffickers smuggling illegal aliens into this country.

"Every week in America, the same amount of Americans die that were killed in Israel by Hamas terrorists all because of Secretary Mayorkas's bitter refusal to secure our Southern border, which he could easily do today. The utter disregard for American life displayed by Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas can no longer be ignored," said the Republican representative.
In her community, Taylor Greene highlighted the record increase in border encounters, large seizures of fentanyl and the captures of people on terrorist watch lists. Likewise, she noted the increase in "escapes" of illegal aliens and the growing number of undocumented children who are arriving unaccompanied at the border.
"As a result of intentionally failing to secure our homeland and putting the lives of every American in danger from his very first day in office, Alejandro Mayorkas is unfit to hold the office of Secretary of Homeland Security and must be impeached," indicates the representative's text.
