The terrorist group Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 9 attacks against Israel from Lebanon after promising a bloodbath

The retaliation comes after a successful IDF operation against the Iranian-backed Shiite organization.

This Sunday, the Shiite terrorist group Hezbollah, supported by the Iranian regime, claimed responsibility for 9 attacks against Israel from Lebanon after its leader promised a bloodbath on Friday.

According to a report from Infobae, the terrorist group admitted to carrying out the attacks against northern Israel after a series of Israeli attacks against Lebanon.

Hezbollah announced that they launched missiles at several "gatherings of Israeli soldiers" located near the Lebanon-Israel border.

According to the Shiite group, the attacks caused casualties.

"The group also claimed to have attacked a building where several Israeli military personnel were stationed, as well as other positions in the disputed Chebaa Farms, in which Hezbollah used high-caliber' Burkan'-type projectiles, which have the capacity to carry warheads of up to half a ton," reported Infobae.

Since the war broke out between Israel and Hamas after the terrorist attacks of October 7, Israel and Hezbollah have maintained an intense crossfire on the border that divides Lebanon from Israeli territory. This is the worst wave of violence in the region since the war that was fought in 2006.

Sunday's attacks come after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah issued a televised statement on Friday warning that Israel would pay in "blood" for recent attacks launched in southern Lebanon.

"The enemy [Israel] must know that it went too far in attacking civilians. The price of the blood of our civilians, particularly women and children, is blood," Nasrallah said.

In turn, Nasrallah's statement came after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Thursday that it eliminated a senior commander and two agents belonging to Hezbollah's Radwan Forces in an airstrike against a military structure of Hezbollah in Nabatieh.
