The president of the National Border Patrol Council claims that Biden is not "seriously concerned" about the immigration crisis

Brandon Judd stated that the president should implement some of the measures used by Trump to control the chaos at the border, "It was brilliant what he did to bring illegal immigration down to 45-year lows. Biden could do exactly the same thing."

President of the National Border Patrol Council Brandon Judd claimed that, in his opinion, President Joe Biden is not "seriously concerned" about the immigration crisis plaguing the nation and stated that although immigration reform could be of great help, the problem could be solved "immediately with policies":

We know that we can control everything that happens here (...) if President Biden was seriously concerned about this issue, all he would have to do is give us a policy. There is no need for Congress to give us laws (...) Yes, it would be good to have those laws because that is a long-term solution, but President Biden could fix this immediately with policies.

In an interview on Fox, Judd said that Biden could implement some measures, which he described as "brilliant,” that were used by former President Donald Trump to control the border crisis:

We saw it with President Trump. What he did to reduce illegal immigration to a 45-year low was brilliant. Biden could do exactly the same.

"The Mexican government is not going to do anything"

The president of the council said that controlling the immigration crisis depends entirely on the measures applied by the federal government, since on the Mexican side of the border "everything depends on the cartels, the Mexican Government is not going to do anything. They have no incentive to do anything right now because of the amount of money coming into their economy based on illegal immigration and drug smuggling."

The only thing that will drive these numbers down is if the cartels recognize that President Trump is going to be very, very bad for them.

Judd also claimed that the Biden administration is not telling Americans the "truth" about the reality at the border and that there are measures that can be applied to control the crisis.
