This Friday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the identification and neutralization of a Hamas terrorist cell that was using an ambulance to carry out operations within the Gaza Strip.
The ambulance, which was initially supposed to be used to provide medical assistance to civilians, was intercepted by the IDF after an intelligence operation learned that the ambulance was not being used for humanitarian purposes, but to cover up terrorist activities.
“A Hamas terrorist cell was identified using an ambulance. In response, an IDF aircraft struck and neutralized the Hamas terrorists, who were operating within the ambulance,” the IDF reported in a statement published through X.
After making the announcement, the IDF recalled that Gaza is a war zone and insisted that it has already made repeated calls for civilians to evacuate to the south in order to ensure their own safety.

Israeli authorities assured that they have information that shows that Hamas is using ambulances to transport weapons and members of its terrorist group.
Hamas' methods of operation
Israel has already warned that Palestinian terrorists use civilians as human shields and has denounced that Hamas members strategically place themselves under hospitals, schools, mosques and even residences to avoid being attacked.
In fact, the IDF shared a video explaining how Gaza's largest hospital is being used as the main headquarters for Hamas terrorist activity.

Hamas only protects its members, not Palestinians
In a recent interview, Mousa Abu Marzouk, a Hamas spokesman, clearly said that Hamas has no responsibility to protect the citizens of the Gaza Strip and that its underground tunnels are solely to protect its members.
“Everybody knows that 75% of the people in the Gaza Strip are refugees, and it is the responsibility of the United Nations to protect them. According to the Geneva Convention, it is the responsibility of the occupation to provide them with all the services as long as they are under occupation,” he said.
