Milei considers it "praise" that Maduro accuses him of being "a fatal mistake" for Argentina and Latin America
The Venezuelan dictator criticized the Argentine president's cuts and assured that he intends to hand over his country "on its knees to North American imperialism."
Javier Milei responded with irony to the attacks of the Bolivarian dictator of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, who described him as a "fatal error" in the history of Argentina and Latin America. The Argentine president noted in his X account that he "did not expect such praise" from the Venezuelan, whom he called an "impoverishing socialist." Maduro harshly criticized Milei's reforms, especially the elimination of ministries, pointing out that the Argentine believes that "by shrinking the State, prosperity will be born by spontaneous generation."
"You were appointed to destroy the rule of law"
During his annual message in front of the National Assembly, Maduro did not hesitate to attack Milei, whom he accused of being the puppet of a series of powers that intend to destroy his country in order to "colonize Argentina and deliver it on its knees to North American imperialism."
In addition, the dictator pointed out that Milei's formula is not a way to improve the national economy. After mocking that the Argentine president believes that "by shrinking the State, prosperity will be born by spontaneous generation," Maduro stressed that this "is not the way" and defended "the need for a powerful social State, of justice and of law."
Milei responds: "We are on the right track"
In response, the leader of the Argentine Executive published an ironic post on his X account thanking the dictator for the compliment and ensuring that this type of criticism indicates that "we are on the right path."
