Juvenile arrested in Washington shooting that left five dead, including three children

Authorities reported a shooting in which five people were killed, three of them children. The event occurred in King County, Washington, and there has been a minor arrested in the case. There is also a 10-year-old boy hospitalized in serious condition.
The King County Sheriff's Office explained, in a statement obtained by NBC News, that deputies responded to emergency calls for a shooting at a home in the Lake Alice Road neighborhood in Fall City.
It was further detailed that it was unclear what the relationship is between the suspect and the victims. However, as advanced by the New York Post, the detainee described himself as the brother of the other minors.
"Apparently tried to hang himself after opening fire on his relatives," noted the Post.
Authorities also explained that there is no active threat in the community. The arrested teenager was booked into the King County Juvenile Detention Center and is expected to appear in court in the coming days.
