VIDEO: Interstate 95 after tanker truck fire

A fire in a tanker truck loaded with gasoline caused chaos on Interstate 95 while passing through Philadelphia. A major section of highway infrastructure connecting the southern and northern United States along the east coast was damaged, causing the road to collapse.
The events occurred at around 6:20 am on Sunday. Emergency services received an alert for a fire that broke out between Exit 32 for Academy Road and Exit 30 for Cottman Avenue on the northbound route near Philadelphia. Upon arrival at the scene, they observed a truck on fire and a section of the highway which collapsed. In addition, the burning of the fuel carried by the vehicle generated a large plume of smoke that could be seen from several miles away.
