Hillary Clinton accuses the right-wing of "having a plan to steal the next presidential election"
"The right-wing-controlled Supreme Court may be poised to rule on whether to grant state legislatures the power to nullify presidential elections," said the former Secretary of State.
Former Secretary of State and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed in a video posted on Twitter that Republicans intend to "literally" steal the 2024 presidential election with a plan they are "not hiding."
The Democrat goes on to say that "the right-wing controlled Supreme Court may be poised to rule on whether to grant state legislatures the power to overturn presidential elections." Asserting that her opponents are preparing an alleged electoral manipulation for the 2024 general vote:
Clinton calls to "donate money"
Clinton is also promoting the 'Crush The Coup' campaign of 'Indivisible', an organization which, according to its website, is a "grassroots movement of thousands of local groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy and defeat the Trump agenda."
The campaign created by the organization asks Democrats to donate money in "six key states" that should be led by them so that the alleged Republican plan cannot be carried out.
If the right-wing Supreme Court rules that state legislators can override voter choice in presidential elections, 2024 could very well come down to the six swing states-Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin-that trend blue in presidential elections but are governed by Republican state legislatures.
We have identified the most important races in these six states to flip or protect in order to retake Democratic control or avoid Republican supermajorities. Each of these races is very competitive, and your money could mean the difference between a win or a loss.
