Amber Heard flees Hollywood to settle in Spain
The Daily Mail claims that Johnny Depp's ex-wife has moved to Madrid with her two-year-old daughter.
Amber Heard has escaped the Hollywood spotlight to settle in the Spanish capital of Madrid. According to Alison Boshoff, a reporter specializing in tabloid media, the actress wants to escape the media pressure generated after her lawsuit against Johnny Depp. For this reason, she has chosen a European capital to settle down and give peace of mind to her two-year-old daughter. Amber lost her court battle against Depp in Virginia, but the couple still has another showdown pending in the British courts.
According to sources close to Heard, the actress sold her home in the California town of Yucca Valley, in San Bernardino County, in 2021. In October, she was spotted on the beaches of the island of Mallorca, Spain, with her partner Eve Barlow. A friend of Heard's told journalist Alison Boshoff that "Heard left Hollywood and quietly moved to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh. She is bilingual, knows Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise."
According to Boshoff's information, Heard rents a house outside Madrid and has no plans to return to California. It is not known if Barlow has accompanied her on this Spanish adventure. It is also uncertain whether the actress will have to return to Hollywood to work on a production. She has not participated in any films as an actress since 2021. It became known recently that Heard would be reprising her role in the upcoming installment of the Aquaman saga, starring Jason Momoa.
Madrid is place that has captivated many stars throughout history. Its cultural offerings and heritage, with a calmer lifestyle compared to the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, are some of the reasons why many celebrities choose it as a place to live.
