Elon vs. Zuck: negotiations with Giorgia Meloni to fight in Rome Colosseum

In a post on X, the Tesla CEO announced that he is talking to the Italian prime minister and the Ministry of Culture about having the fight in an "epic location."

In pure gladiator style, the fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg could take place in the Colosseum in Rome. It's a rumor that had been floating around for several weeks, but this Friday Tesla's CEO announced that he spoke with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to secure an "epic location" for the fight.

According to Musk, Italian authorities have reportedly reached an agreement to hold the fight in Rome. "Everything in the camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern. I spoke to the Italian prime minister and the minister of culture. They have agreed on an epic location," Musk said in his X post. He then posted another message with emojis of swords surrounding the word "Gladiator." Musk wanted to reference the famous Ridley Scott movie, which has ancient Rome and the Colosseum as its main setting.

Along with this, Musk also stressed that the UFC will have no role in his fight with Meta's owner. It will be the foundations of both technology moguls that will manage the amateur sporting event. Musk promised that everything will be done with respect for Italy's culture, its past and its present. He also added that all proceeds will go to veterans.
