"Corporate media is dead": Tucker Carlson's new network trolls traditional press with trucks parked outside its headquarters

The famous anchor left billboards in front of CNN, NBC News, The New York Times and The Washington Post.

Former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson criticized major news outlets as part of an advertising campaign for the launch of his new streaming platform.
This Thursday, Tucker Carlson Network (TCN) parked billboard trucks in front of major media outlets' headquarters with the message, "Corporate media is dead."

The advertising image also featured a photo of Carlson, along with TCN's logo and the address of its new subscription-based website.
TCN also took pictures of the billboards in front of the headquarters of CNN, NBC News, The New York Times and The Washington Post and shared them via X.

"Some call it advertising. We call it art," says one of TCN's publications about the bold advertising strategy.

It should be noted that the unusual advertising move was made on the same day that TCN released part of the first episode of "Ask Tucker" through X.

Carlson announced his new project last Saturday and explained that it is a streaming platform with an annual subscription of $72 or $6 a month.

"We've been out of work for seven or eight months now. Hard to know, time flies when you're unemployed," Carlson joked in a video announcement in which he revealed that he had been secretly working to produce a large amount of material for at least five shows - "The Tucker Carlson Interview," "The Tucker Carlson Encounter," "Tucker Carlson Uncensored," "Ask Tucker" and "TC Shorts."

Carlson and his dissatisfaction with the current media

Since the famously conservative anchor left Fox News, he has repeatedly made it clear that he believes America's mainstream news media manipulates the news and does not allow free speech.

"The news you consume is a lie—a lie of the stealthiest and most insidious kind. Facts have been withheld on purpose, along with proportion and perspective. You are being manipulated," he said during a video he posted on X to promote the show he has been streaming through Elon Musk's social media network.
