Biden 'celebrates' Trump's victory in New Hampshire by amplifying fear narrative

The president assures that with the magnate's victory "our democracy, our personal freedoms and our economy are at stake."

Joe Biden enthusiastically celebrated Donald Trump's resounding victory in New Hampshire. The triumph of the former president in the first two appointments of the Republican calendar leaves the magnate's nomination very much on track - in fact, until now, all the candidates who won in Iowa and the Granite State went on to represent the conservatives in the presidential elections. Something that allowed the current president to once again raise the flag of fear to mobilize the Democratic electorate, ensuring that "there can be no more at stake" after these results. Unfortunately, his warning about abortion to his most likely rival in November once again revealed his cognitive problems with a notable stammer.

Biden won in New Hampshire despite not participating

Biden also emerged stronger from New Hampshire. Despite not participating, 51% of Blue Party voters who went to the polls cast their ballot with the president's name, far ahead of Representative Dean Phillips (19.8%) and Marianne Williamson (4.8%). After thanking the citizens of the Granite State for their gesture, Biden was quick to launch his warnings about what is at stake in November if the Republicans win:

It is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican candidate. And my message to the country is the stakes could not be higher. Our Democracy. Our personal freedoms — from the right to choose to the right to vote. Our economy — which has seen the strongest recovery in the world since COVID. All are at stake.

Trump celebrates his victory with a historic vote record

Trump, for his part, did not want anyone to tarnish his victory. Neither Biden nor Haley, whose results - spurred by undeclared and Democratic voters - were better than expected and he launched a speech that sounded triumphalist. Too triumphalist, for the taste of the former president, who was quick to attack her: "She didn't win. She Lost. Who the hell was the impostor that went up on the stage that went before and claimed victory? She did very poorly actually." He also had a few words for Biden: "We have won New Hampshire three times and we have won almost all the polls in the last three months against crooked Joe Biden.”

Furthermore, in a Truth Social publication, the former president stuck out his chest, highlighting that he had just broken "the historical record for votes cast -both sides, Democrats and Republicans - in the history of the New Hampshire primaries."

Haley: "I'm not going anywhere"

The third protagonist of the night - or the third winner, in her words - was Nikki Haley. Radiant, she celebrated his result as a triumph. The former ambassador to the United Nations surpassed the most optimistic polls - they gave her 39% in the best of cases - obtaining more than 43%. With a defiant attitude, Haley refused to withdraw, as many voices in the conservative party have demanded, and recalled that there are still 48 states left to decide the final nominee.

I've got bad news for the political establishment: I'm not going anywhere... except to my sweet South Carolina. We are not going to let them coronate Donald Trump when 48 states haven't voted.
