Colombian-Mexican, Julián Quiñones, in the 91st minute, Paraguayan, Richard Sánchez, in the 104th minute, and Uruguayan, Jonathan Rodríguez, in the 120th minute, scored América's goals in the second leg of the final, played at the Azteca stadium.
With this, América won the final with a 4-1 aggregate score and achieved the eighteenth league title in its history (14th in the era of professionalism), becoming the most successful team in Mexican soccer.
