The most expensive home in the United States and the highest on the planet is on sale for $250 million

'The One Above All Else' is located in New York City, across from Central Park. It has a total area of 17,545 square feet distributed over three floors and a 1,433 square foot outdoor terrace.

The One Above All Else. That's the name of the most expensive home in the United States and, also, the one located at the highest altitude in the world at 1,417 feet. Currently, this luxurious apartment, located in New York in front of Central Park, is on sale for the 'modest' price of $250 million. Its name fits it perfectly.

Ryan Serhant, a real estate agent known for starring in the television show Million Dollar Listing New York, is the listing agent. "Comprising of three floors on the 129th, 130th and 131st floors at 217 West 57th Street in New York City. We have 17,545 square feet interior. We have 1,433 square feet of exterior terrace, unlike anything I have ever seen. This home is the most expensive home in the United States. We are priced at $250 million and it couldn't be more worth it," Serhant says at the beginning of the video showing this glitzy home that he posted on his YouTube account.

In it, he explains all the features, amenities and luxuries available at The One Above All Else. Apart from the surface area, the house has an interior spiral staircase that connects the three floors, seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. "It's like buying a Monet, a Picasso, a Dali or a Basquiat. This is a real work of art," Serhant explains.

All floor-to-ceiling windows on each floor provide 360º views of New York, as well as an abundance of natural light during the day.

On the second floor, there are two bedrooms, a 1,500-square-foot living room, a dining room, an observatory, a library, a multimedia room and a service kitchen. Five of the seven bedrooms are on the second floor, including the master bedroom, which has a sitting room and several dressing rooms, with en-suite bathrooms and a game room. Finally, on the third floor, there is access to the terrace, apart from a 2,000 square feet room perfect for holding events.
