The libertarian Javier Milei, the most voted presidential candidate in the primary elections of Argentina (PASO), is making his mark on the conservative environment of American politics in recent days through a series of subtitled videos where the Argentine is seen strongly criticizing the left of his country.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) viewed and reposted one of those videos, showing he was impressed by Milei’s rhetoric and energy to the point that he publicly asked if the Argentine economist could be “invited” to the GOP presidential debate.

In the video shared by the Republican senator, a euphoric Milei explains why the left, whom he called “leftists sh*t,” should not be given an inch of political maneuvering.
“Why do you call them leftists sh*t?” the presenter asked Milei in that video.
“Because they will eliminate [kill] you!” said Milei, leaving the journalist perplexed.
It is not the only video of Milei that has gone viral recently in the United States and has attracted the attention of conservative figures nationwide.
Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, the youngest Republican candidate in U.S. history, also “offered” the renowned Argentine economist to lead a training session at the White House after he saw a video of Milei explaining how he would reduce public spending in his country.

“Love this. I’ll invite him to do a Day 1 training in the White House,” Ramaswamy wrote on X, sharing the clip where an energetic Milei is seen proposing the elimination of several ministries that he says are unnecessary for the efficient functioning of the State.
Who is Javier Milei?
The presidential candidate, who surpassed 30 percent in Argentina’s recent primary election, is a libertarian economist who went from a recurring TV panelist to one of the South American country’s most prominent politicians.
Milei, who is the leader of La Libertad Avanza (Liberty Advances), the right-wing Argentine political party that brings together conservative and libertarian voices, pulled off his first big coup in politics after becoming a national congressman in December 2021.
The candidate became known for his rough and controversial style in television debates, which carried over into his political life and helped him become a widespread phenomenon.
The Argentine is leading an unprecedented political push for his country’s leadership, bursting onto the scene as an outsider and proposing a massive reform of the State to eliminate the fiscal deficit. One of Milei’s best-known proposals is the dollarization of Argentina’s economy to combat rampant inflation, which has generated significant debate in the South American country.
Milei’s agenda also includes some conservative views, such as proposing a plebiscite to repeal the abortion law and lowering taxes.
