Pringles transforms Chris Pratt into Mr. P in Super Bowl commercial

The snack brand took advantage of the fact that the actor grew out his mustache and made him the new face of the company.

Pringles transformed Chris Pratt into Mr. P in its Super Bowl commercial. During the recent double strike in Hollywood, the actor grew out his mustache. The snack brand took advantage of this to make him the new face of the company. There is no better moment to play the commercial than at the sporting event that is watched by more than 100 million viewers.

The actor told Variety that he was bored and decided to grow a mustache. During the Hollywood screenwriters and actors strike, he decided to grow his mustache: "I grew it out and shaved down the sides, and it curled up," Pratt said during his interview.

It was then that his wife, Katharine Schwarzenneger, jokingly told him that the mustache just might have legs. Pratt's response was not long in coming. He said, "That’s actually a good look for a character. Have you ever played a character with that type of mustache?" she asked him.

After this, he decided to keep his look: "I kept it. I must have posted something on social media," he remembers. Shortly after, he began seeing several people on social media comparing him to the Pringles logo. The company didn't take long to call him and the snack brand's advertisement for Super Bowl LVIII was born.
