Posobiec: "Lula is turning Brazil into a new Venezuela."

The commentator warned of the drifting of the Biden administration, bringing the United States closer to the repressive reality of South American countries.

On Thursday, February 22nd, CPAC, the most important conservative conference in the world, kicked off in Washington, DC. One of the attendees, the renowned commentator and senior editor of Human Events, Jack Posobiec, spoke to Voz Media about the concern about the advance of communism not only in the United States but also in Latin America.

When asked about how the media is subjugated to the government and the comparison with other leftist regimes on the continent, such as Nicolás Maduro's in Venezuela, Posobiec said: "This has been happening for a long time in Venezuela and Cuba. Now also in Brazil."

Posobiec referred to the recent persecution by Brazilian Justice against former president Jair Bolsonaro and his entourage, whom they accuse of having been behind a conspiracy to prevent the government of current socialist president Lula da Silva.

"What they are doing to patriots in Brazil, to Jair Bolsonaro and his family, taking away their passports.... That is a new Venezuela. They want Brazil to become communist," he said.

Posobiec insisted that the United States, under the Biden administration, is approaching a reality similar to that of repressive Latin American countries.

"We see it here as well. We see President Biden working to censor social networks."

"Thank God we have a guy like Elon Musk," he added.

Finally, Voz Media asked Jack Posobiec what the average citizen can do to prevent the drift towards authoritarianism in the United States.

"We know that if we don't stand up for our rights and stand up for our ability to speak freely, we're never going to expose the manipulations and lies of the mainstream media," he said.

"When you present the truth to people, people do the right thing."
