Mexico: At least 17 dead after a bus carrying migrants overturns

In Oaxaca, Mexico, a bus carrying migrants overturned, leaving at least 17 dead and several injured. The majority of the victims were of Venezuelan nationality, as reported by the Mexican State Coordination of Civil Protection on X, formerly Twitter.

The truck was transporting a total of 55 migrants and was traveling on the Oaxaca-Cuacnopalanpor highway. The causes of the accident have not yet been announced.

The CEPC intervened and provided assistance in the event of a road accident that occurred at kilometer 88 of the Oaxaca-Cuacnopalan highway, where a bus with 55 migrants, most of them Venezuelan nationals, overturned ...
