Shani Louk, German-Israeli kidnapped by Hamas during rave massacre, confirmed dead

The family has confirmed her death. The young German-Israeli woman was participating in the techno festival in southern Israel, near the border with Gaza, where Hamas commandos killed about 250 people.

Shani Louk's family confirmed the young woman's death this Monday. Louk had been a hostage of the Hamas group since the terrorist raid against Israel on October 7, and was one of the most recognizable faces of the tragedy after being kidnapped at the rave party by the terrorists and paraded around in a van as a symbol of the criminals' ostentation.

"Unfortunately, yesterday we received the news that my daughter is no longer alive," mother Ricarda Louk told the DPA news agency and RTL/ntv, as reported by several German media.

Although there was still no official confirmation early Monday morning, authorities finally confirmed the tragic outcome.

The 23-year-old German woman was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists. A video of the young woman - immobilized and half-naked on a van - went around the world and Shani became one of the faces of the terrorist attack perpetrated by Hamas against Israel. The images showed the young woman being tortured by the Islamist assassins in the back of the van.
