Hamas releases two more hostages at Rafah crossing

Israeli media say that at least two Hamas hostages were released this Monday at the Rafah crossing, south of Gaza. According to Channel 12, they are Nurit Cooper, 79, and Yocheved Lifshitz, 85. Both women were kidnapped from the Nir Oz kibbutz.
According to Channel 12, after being released, both were placed in the care of the Red Cross, which is present at the Rafah border crossing, which was opened to allow the passage of a humanitarian convoy for civilians in the Gaza Strip.
According to The Times of Israel, Hamas decided to release the two women for "humanitarian reasons," which may be the advanced age of Cooper and Lifshitz.
