The supreme leader of Iran's Islamic fundamentalist regime, Mojtaba Khamenei, issued a new series of threats against the United States and Israel if they launch new offensives against Tehran.

"If the enemies launch military or terrorist attacks again, it will be the armed forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation that will determine the timing and conditions for putting an end to them," Khamenei said in a statement reported by AFP.

That threat to resume attacks against the United States or Israel will not have "geographical restrictions," added Iran's Supreme Leader, hinting that he could carry out offensives on U.S. or Israeli soil.

"Any level or type of threat must receive an immediate, forceful response without geographical restrictions," he said.

On Saturday, the Iranian military warned that any new U.S. attack would only serve to further escalate the war in the Middle East.

"If the President of the United States once again embarks on another reckless adventure in the region by threatening and cajoling the Zionists, there is no doubt that the fire of war will engulf a broader geographical expanse," Iranian military spokesman Mohammad Akraminia said on X.
