Reuters reported Friday that one of its cameramen was killed in southern Lebanon in the middle of the war between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas. The man, recognized as Issam Abdallah, was working and was part of a news team providing a live video feed from the area.
"We are deeply saddened to learn that our videographer, Issam Abdallah, has been killed," said a statement released by the media outlet.
The agency did not provide further details about what happened. It indicated that it is communicating with authorities to get additional information. "We are urgently seeking more information, working with authorities in the region, and supporting Issam’s family and colleagues," Reuters detailed.
In Gaza, at least 1,500 people have been killed following the Israeli response to the terrorist attack. Meanwhile, international reactions to the massacre continue. The White House announced that 27 American citizens have died in the conflict.
