Video: a climber dies on K2 while his companions continue climbing without rescuing him

Mohammad Hassan, a 27-year-old mountaineer, died on K2 as he was about to reach the summit. In the last few days, a video has gone viral showing the lifeless body of the mountaineer while the rest of his companions continued climbing, without rescuing him. He was hit by an avalanche.

Located in the Himalayas (Asia), K2 is one of the fourteen 8,000ers in the world. It is the second highest mountain on the planet, although on certain occasions it has been said that it is the highest because the summit of Everest is formed by ice and not by the earth's surface.
