VIDEO: Tennessee high school student pepper-sprays a teacher
The teacher confiscated his student's cell phone for using it in class and the student responded by using a self-defense spray against him.
A video is making the rounds on social media after appearing on a Reddit forum last Friday. The footage shows an altercation between a teacher and a female student at a high school allegedly located in Antioch, Tenneessee.
According to what can be seen in the video and from what a Reddit user relates, the fight started when the teacher confiscated the student's smartphone. The student used it to obtain answers for a written test. When the teacher went to take away her cell phone, she sprayed him with pepper spray, which then leaves the teacher on his knees, howling. According to the Reddit user who posted the video, the student is of legal age.
The networks did not miss the opportunity to comment on this event and harshly criticized the behavior of the student. They also questioned the legality of bringing a self-defense spray to school. According to what Internet users were able to add, comparing other videos of the same subject matter, this is the second time this year that a student has assaulted this same teacher at Antioch High School. In a video published some months ago, you can see how the same teacher struggles with a student to confiscate his cell phone. The student then hits him with a right that leaves the teacher practically knocked out.
