Damage in Texas

Thunderstorms and high winds caused damage to some facilities Thursday in Texas. Images posted on social media showed darkening skies as the storm system moved through the center of the state.

In Irving, Texas, an automobile dealership was destroyed due to the force of the wind gusts. The intensity of the winds caused part of the establishment’s roof to fall to the ground.

A tornado and hail were the main causes for alarm on social media, where users shared images that confirmed the National Weather Service’s warnings.
