Moms For Liberty: mothers fighting woke indoctrination in schools
It began with two mothers concerned about educational destruction. They now number 100,000 women fighters for parental rights.
Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich served on the school board in their respective districts. There they saw how certain policies directly harmed children and their families and decided to use their experience to unite parents in the fight against those who want to end freedom in schools. It was the birth of Moms For Liberty.
The basic idea is simple: to defend the rights of parents in the education of their children. The problem arises when the Administration itself turns its back on these parents to impose its own agenda, or that of certain pressure groups. It is plain to see how progressive policies that are spread in schools result in the imposition of certain ideologies such as gender, and an avalanche of attempts to restrict the freedom of children in school. Since coming together to confront these impositions, the association is continually adding a growing number of concerned mothers and fathers willing to stand up and fight for the future of their children.
One of Moms For Liberty's slogans makes the association's concerns clear:"We are not co-parents with the government." For this reason, they ask the Administration not to interfere with impositions in private matters such as sexuality or religiosity.
An example in the fight for freedoms that is gaining more and more supporters
Moms For Liberty they describe themselves as "loving and cheerful mothers". Last July they held the group's first annual summit in Tampa (Florida), where they made a show of strength by winning the support of important Republicans such as Governor Ron DeSantis, Senator Rick Scott and former Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos.
During the meeting, the founders of the movement presented DeSantis with a sword known as 'Rudis', which represents the trophy given to gladiators after a battle. In this case, the battle to free the governor of Florida for his work to protect the rights of parents in the education of their children.
The group became known for its protests against the mandatory use of face-masks on children during the pandemic and has extended its plea for parental freedom. From a conservative approach, they fight against the avalanche of woke ideology in schools, from the new gender theories to LGBT sexuality for children, to the arbitrary impositions of progressive teachers' unions.
Moms for Liberty, as its mission statement explains, is dedicated to fighting for America's survival by unifying, educating and empowering parents to stand up for their parental rights. Their success is overwhelming and they are already present in 40 states in the country. From just Tina and Tiffany, they have become 100,000 fighters, fighting for the rights of their children, and they plan to do more. As Tiffany Justice herself proclaimed during her annual summit, "2022 is the year of dads, and moms and dads are the real political party in America. This is a wake-up call to those in power.
