State Department spokeswoman on Trump's UN speech: 'Action is the only thing that will resolve conflicts in the world'

President Trump delivered a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, in which he left numerous headlines before the way in which he blamed the organization for not having been able to do anything to prevent several of the threats affecting the world today.

On VOZ News, Journalist Enrique Teuteló interviewed State Department spokesperson Natalia Molano on Tuesday. They talked about President Donald Trump's speech at the United Nations General Assembly, in which he left numerous headlines given the way he blamed the organization for not being able to do anything to prevent several of the threats affecting the world today.

"It was quite a long speech but very interesting and we saw him in his full spirit. ... His message was: 'action is the only thing that will solve the conflicts in the world.' He also called on the leaders in that room, saying that if they really want results they must take action, and he reached out to work in mutual efforts with the United States. ... In the case of Russia and Ukraine, Trump was very direct with the European Union and other countries telling them that if they really want to put pressure on Russia, they should take action and stop buying oil and natural gas from Russia."
