Prince William and Zelensky are the highest-rated public figures among Democrats and Republicans
President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump tie at 41% support among citizens. Prince William's support may be due to his mother, Princess Diana.
Prince William and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are the highest-rated leaders among Americans. A poll conducted by Gallup revealed that William has an overall favorable rating of 59% among Americans and is the highest of 15 prominent figures. More than six in 10 Republicans (65%) and Democrats (63%) have a favorable opinion of the Prince of Wales.
“The United Kingdom’s Prince William emerges as the strongest candidate to serve this U.S.-unifying role,” said the study published by Gallup.
Prince William's rating is technically tied with that of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who has 57%.
William has a better opinion among women (69%) than among men (50%). Gallup explained that the reasons could be due to the popularity of his mother, Princess Diana. In the case of Zelensky, his popularity is more politically based.
None of the other leaders rated in the survey get the overwhelming approval of Americans in general. However, First Lady Jill Biden (49%), King Charles of the U.K. (46%) and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts (43%) are the closest to matching William and Zelensky.

The study, which was conducted from July 3-27 of 2023, detailed that President Joe Biden and his possible opponent in the 2024 elections, former President Donald Trump, are tied with 41% popularity.
Additionally, the survey explained, “The least-popular person measured is Russian President Vladimir Putin, with 5% favorable and 90% unfavorable ratings. His favorability is down from 13% in 2017 and 2018 and is the lowest for him in Gallup’s trend that dates to 2002.”
