All in the red: the Republican Party conquers the electorate of Liberty County (Florida)
With 1,969, it surpasses the Democratic Party in number of registered voters. In the 2022 midterms all GOP candidates swept the county.
The Republican Party already has a larger number of registered voters in Liberty County (Florida) than the Democratic Party. Specifically, it has two more voters than its political rival. A victory achieved thanks to a "pro-freedom conservative leadership", as defined by the GOP.
According to the Liberty County website, the Republican Party has 1,969 registered voters, to the Democratic Party's 1,967. In addition, there are 476 registered in the "other" category. Via its Twitter account, the GOP celebrated getting ahead, "Another county has gone from blue to red thanks to strong pro-freedom conservative leadership in Florida and our statewide voter registration efforts.We're just getting started!"

GOP swept midterms in Liberty County
Ron DeSantis defeated the Democratic Party in 62 of Florida's 67 counties in the November 2022 midterm elections. Specifically, in Liberty County all GOP candidates garnered more than 80% of the vote:
- Marco Rubio (U.S. Senate): 83.17%.
- Neal Dunn (U.S. House of Representatives): 81.26%.
- Ron DeSantis (Governor): 85.36%.
- Ashley Moody (Attorney General): 86.01%.
- Jimmy Patronis (Chief Financial Officer): 85.62%.
- Wilton Simpson (Commissioner of Agriculture): 84.06%.
- Corey Simon (Florida Senate): 80.76%.
The Republican Party scored one of its biggest victories in the midterms in Florida. The best-known feat he accomplished was
winning over the electorate of Miami-Dade County, the state's most populous county
the most populated county in the state and where around 70% of the population is Hispanic. For more than two decades, the GOP had not outpolled the Democratic Party.
