"Sound of Freedom" continues to be unstoppable at the U.S. box office. Eduardo Verástegui's feature film that focuses on the worldwide crisis of pedophilia and child trafficking surpassed $130 million in revenue, according to data provided by Box Office Mojo. More and more countries around the world are interested in screening the film.

The first country to announce it would release the feature film starring Jim Caviezel was Mexico. Cinépolis theaters announced that the film would land in the country on Aug. 31. Verástegui confirmed the news soon after, assuring that it was necessary for "Sound of Freedom" to reach a worldwide audience:

The more people we can get to see "Sound of Freedom," the more we can stand up with one voice and tell the world that God's children are not for sale.

His wish has come true. "Sound of Freedom" will not only reach the United States and Mexico. Verástegui assured that he had managed to get his film, which has already been seen by more than 12 million people, to other countries in the coming months.

Upcoming 'Sound of Freedom' release dates

El Salvador will be the first country outside the U.S. to screen the film, even before Mexico, and will do so on July 28 at a special premiere. It was the Ministry of Culture who assured that the film will be shown at the President's Theater for about 600 people who had already registered.

It will be followed by South Africa, which will release the film on Aug. 18. The feature film will arrive in New Zealand and Australia on Aug. 24, while Latin America will have to wait until the Aug. 31 to see Verástegui's movie. One day later, on Sept. 1, the film will cross the pond to the United Kingdom and Ireland. Its tour, for the moment, will end in Spain, where "Sound of Freedom" can be seen in cinemas beginning Oct. 11 thanks to the production company A Contracorriente Films:
