Biden, the assault on Capitol Hill DID NOT TAKE PLACE ON JULY 6

The president had another memory lapse and confused the date of the attack.

During the commemoration of the assault on the Capitol held in Congress, Joe Biden once again suffered a new lapse. The president confused the date of the event, thinking that it took place six months later:

What happened on July the 6th had international repercussions beyond what I think any of you can fully understand.

It is the most recent slip up in "Biden lapses." Among others, he went so far as to claim that his son Beau died in Iraq when he actually died of cancer. Another time, while making an appearance at an event, he called out for a congresswoman who had died a month earlier.
