The FBI has searched the University of Delaware on at least two occasions in recent weeks in connection with the federal investigation into President Biden's possible negligent use of classified material.
As revealed to CNN by a "source familiar with the investigation," in both searches, the FBI took several materials. Although none appear to be marked as classified, they are now being reviewed by the Bureau. Biden's legal team reportedly cooperated with the searches, which were conducted on two separate dates and were not reported to the public.
According to CNN, investigators examined two separate batches of documents during the searches: a file of materials from the president's time in the Senate; as well as documents Biden sent to the university in recent years.

The newly discovered records are now part of further efforts to recover classified documents that Joe Biden may have improperly hidden or stored. In this regard, classified material was already found at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, following a search conducted in November, however, details of this were not released until several months after the midterm elections. The files allegedly contained intelligence information on Iran, the United Kingdom and Ukraine.
Subsequent searches of several of Biden's residences, including a garage he owned in Delaware, turned up more materials, including a batch of locked documents. Hidden notes from Biden's time as vice president during the Obama administration also turned up at the president's beach house in Rehoboth Beach.
In total, more than 25 classified documents were found, to which the latest revelations must be added. The investigations are in the hands of a special prosecutor in charge of the matter while the White House, Biden himself and even the Justice Department remain silent on this sensitive issue.
