Ashely Moody sues Biden Administration to "stop the mass release of illegal immigrants."

Florida's attorney general wants the government to explain to a judge the failure of its immigration policy in the midst of the border crisis.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody filed a lawsuit Thursday against the Biden Administration following recent actions taken by the federal government to try to remedy the end of Title 42. According to Moody, the Biden Administration's management will release immigrants "en masse" as soon as 11:59 p.m. strikes.

In his lawsuit, Moody claims that Biden's new Title 8 immigration policy is identical to the one he successfully denounced in early 2023. In March of this year, a federal judge ruled in favor of U.S. Attorney Moody in this case.

"Once Title 42 expires, President Joe Biden plans to release into the interior of the country the multitude of illegal immigrants gathered at the border," Moody argues in the statement accompanying his lawsuit filed with a federal judge. According to U.S. Attorney Moody's office, the result will be more than 700,000 illegal immigrants released in the interior of the country. According to a statement from the Attorney General's Office, federal judge Whetherell has already required the Department of Homeland Security to appear before 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Attorneys for the Biden Administration asked the judge to delay the arraignment to 2:00 pm the following day, to allow the U.S. Government to prepare an appropriate reply brief and declaration in support of its arraignment.

This Thursday, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas once again appeared in front of the media. For nearly an hour, Secretary Mayorkas responded to questions from reporters and repeatedly assured that Title 8 will prevent chaos at the southern border. "The border is not open," asserted Mayorkas, who also warned migrants about the mistake of trying to cross the border illegally. "People who cross our border illegally and without a legal basis to remain will be swiftly prosecuted and removed."
