Anti-Semitic tragedy in Los Angeles: A 65-year-old Jewish man was beaten to death by a pro-Palestine protester

Los Angeles witnessed a tragedy on Monday when a 65-year-old Jewish man died from injuries sustained by a pro-Palestine protester. The victim was identified as Paul Kessler, and no arrests have been made yet for his murder. The Ventura Sheriff's Department interviewed witnesses at the scene.

As reported by The Yeshiva World, Kessler was walking on the street near a pro-Palestinian rally on Westlake Blvd in Ventura County. Moments later, a man hit him in the face with a megaphone, causing him to fall to the ground and sustaining a severe head wound.

According to the videos on social media, the man was lying in a pool of blood while a woman who was also participating in the march tried to help him. Although he was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Kessler's injuries were too severe, and he did not survive.

Regarding the origin of the altercation that ended in tragedy, both protagonists argued verbally before the protester proceeded to attack the older man. Local authorities are expected to continue working in the coming days to identify the aggressor.
