It seems that the president isn't the only one in the White House to suffer from memory lapses. The invitation issued for the College Athlete Day celebration included a warning for those who are not vaccinated or who do not have all doses of the vaccine: they must wear a mask and stay at least six feet away from other attendees, according to the Covid protocol which was suspended on May 11.
JUST IN: The Biden White House is bringing back mask requirements and social distancing rules for an event they will be hosting on Monday.
It’s 2023 and they are still pushing this madness? 🤦🏻♂️https://t.co/pRFk9WAkk4

Covid protocol... after the end of the Covid pandemic
This was indicated by Fox News, after obtaining one of the e-mails inviting to participate in the event, which reads:
Masking Guidance: Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask on the White House grounds. Guests who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times and maintain at least 6 feet distance from others while on the White House grounds.
The White House claims it was a mistake
Hours after Fox published the story, the White House Communications Department contacted them to clarify that it was an error in issuing the email invitations. According to the network, "the emails were out of date and were inadvertently included. The White House may be planning to send the most up-to-date guidance in another email just prior to the event." However, Fox claims that it has no record of these being received by the original recipients or of the "type of follow-up note informing them that the COVID guidance was not up to date."
