Trump leads Biden in four of the six key swing states in the presidential race

The former president leads in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania while the president leads in Michigan. Wisconsin is one of the territories where they are tied.

An Emerson College poll shows that former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden in four of the six key swing states in a possible confrontation between the two in the race for the White House.

The poll revealed that the former president leads in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania and the current president leads in Michigan. On the other hand, Wisconsin is one of the territories where they are tied:

Six new state polls from Emerson College Polling have President Joe Biden trailing former President Donald Trump in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Wisconsin, and ahead of Trump in Michigan.

In this poll (which surveyed more than 4,300 voters in these states), Trump has 47% support, while Biden averages 44% support.

Percentage by state

- Arizona : of the 778 respondents, 46% expressed their support for former President Trump compared to 44% who indicated they supported Biden. 11% of citizens expressed feeling "undecided."

- Georgia: among the 780 voters, 49% indicated they supported Trump and 41% supported Biden. 10% of citizens expressed being undecided.

- Nevada : of the 770 surveyed, 47% support the former president and 44% Biden. 8 percent is at stake.

- Pennsylvania : 49% support Trump compared to 45% who support President Biden (816 participants).

- Michigan: it is the only one of the six states where Biden is ahead (with 45% support). On the other hand, 43% support Trump and 13% of voters are undecided (among 788 likely voters).

-Wisconsin: Trump and Biden are tied (both obtained 45% among the 819 voters). 10% expressed being undecided.
