Former President Donald Trump declared that he has already decided who will be his running mate in the presidential race for this year's elections.
At a Fox Town Hall in Iowa and while two of his rivals (Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley ) faced each other in a debate in the same state, the former president and GOP primary candidate assured that he already knows who his vice president will be, however, he did not offer further details:
I can't really tell you that. I mean, I know who it's going to be. We'll do another show at some point.
In another statement, the former president assured that he would be willing to consider as a running mate any of his rivals in the Republican primaries: "Oh, sure, I'll do it. I've started to like Christie more" (he joked, referring to the announcement of the Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie that he would abandon the campaign).
Later the former president clarified: "I don't see it, I don't see it. That would be a surprise. Christie as vice president. Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to announce that it is not."

Trump calls Biden's presidency "weak"
At the same event, Trump described President Joe Biden as "weak" and assured that this factor contributed to the beginning and progress of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the attack by Hamas terrorists on Israel. He declared that with him in the presidency the wars "would never have happened":
They see a weak president (Biden) in our country. And they did something that was unthinkable. So let's have peace through strength. We will not have to fight. It would never have happened in Ukraine. Russia would never have entered, it would never have happened. The recent attack on Israel would never have happened.
The former president expressed his rejection of the Biden Administration's handling of the Gaza War and when asked if "a second term under his presidency would bring years of chaos," Trump responded with that "chaos exists now" under the mandate of the current Government.
They have chaos at the border. They have chaos in the army. People are waking up.
