'Sound Of Freedom' released in El Salvador: Nayib Bukele and Eduardo Verástegui sign document to fight child trafficking

In a Letter of Intent, the producer of the film and the president came together to combat human trafficking.

The positive effects of Sound Of Freedom
are spreading all over the world. This week it was El Salvador’s turn. There, president Nayib Bukele signed a Letter of Intent with Movimiento Viva México, founded by Eduardo Verástegui, to fight child sex trafficking and exploitation:

After the meeting, the Chairman @nayibbukele signed, along with @EVerastegui, a Letter of Intent to fight child sex trafficking. The Government of El Salvador is the first to sign a Letter of Intent with Movimiento Viva Mexico, founded by @EVerastegui, to come together and fight against human trafficking.

While signing the document, Verástegui, who is also producer of the film Sound Of Freedom highlighted the importance of protecting Salvadoran children from child trafficking networks and said he was honored and grateful for Bukele's support:

It is an honor for me to be here with you. Just by being here you are already ambassadors of freedom and we will continue to fight to end child trafficking.

In addition, the Mexican actor added that many more countries should follow the example of the Salvadoran government and become "ambassadors of freedom.” The country will show the film free of charge in several movie theaters nationwide:

This is the first time that the film will be presented outside the United States, where a President is the host, where a President joins the media, where a President invites his cabinet, where a President invites his people to see the film for free. We have a waiting list of countries, after they found out that we were going to have a premier here with President Nayib Bukele. We expect all governments, such as the Government of El Salvador, to say that security comes first. God bless you and long live El Salvador.

The Salvadoran president declared that he will work "hand in hand" with Verastegui to combat child sex trafficking and exploitation:

We are going to work hand in hand to combat child trafficking and we are going to help carry this message that Angel Studios Inc and Eduardo Verástegui, and all those who participated in this film, bravely want to bring to the world.
