Michael Corleone Blanco and his wife, Marie Blanco, settled their lawsuit against Netflix and actress Sofía Vergara for the series that tells the story of Michael’s mother, drug trafficker Griselda Blanco.
The Colombian criminal’s son sued the streaming platform and the actress, among others, for not having permission to use the image of his late mother in the series.
According to court documents reviewed by The Hollywood Reporter and Business Insider, the Blancos dismissed the lawsuit after reaching an agreement. They also waived their right to go back to court over the same issue. At the moment, other details of the agreement have not been made public, such as the settlement amount.
