Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, 90, was hospitalized after suffering a minor fall at her home in San Francisco. A spokesperson from her office communicated that the event occurred this Tuesday and that she was discharged the same day.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein had a "minor fall" at home Tuesday and “briefly went to the hospital" to get checked out, her office said.

The information was confirmed by Fox News. "Senator Feinstein briefly went to the hospital yesterday afternoon as a precaution after a minor fall in her home. All of her scans were clear and she returned home," a spokesperson for the senator said in a statement accessed by Fox News.
The senator has faced several health problems during the year. In fact, she was absent for three months due to shingles. She then suffered two complications related to this disease, encephalitis and Ramsay Hunt syndrome. The first is an inflammation of the brain, which according to her team has already been resolved, while the second is when the aforementioned disease affects the facial nerve near one of your ears, causing paralysis.
Feinstein has represented California in the Upper House since November 1992 and holds the record for being the longest serving woman in the Senate today. Due to her age and health problems, she has already announced that he will retire at the end of his current term, which ends in January 2025.
