Vallejo, in an in-depth conversation on esRadio with Mario Noya, editor-in-chief of Voz Media, talked about her most recent book―co-authored by Agustín Laje, Francisco José Contreras, Renato Cristin and Iván Espinosa de los Monteros (prologue)―and about the biggest myth of feminism: its supposed benevolent intention to save women from the society that oppresses them.
The Colombian journalist, who is also an economist and hosts a podcast, very accurately explained how feminism has sold a false story that only served to make life more difficult for women.
Among many topics, Vallejo discussed how, at this moment in history, despite the planet's enormous population, finding a stable partner to start a family with has become a very complicated mission.
This is largely due to the fact that the sexual liberation promoted in the 20th century generated a harmful effect: many women are seeking immediate “happiness” without commitment by surrendering to the arms of numerous men who fulfill their “dream” of having relationships that lack commitment and are sporadic and completely banal.
This situation, driven both directly and indirectly by feminism, which has driven the secular movement in recent decades, paradoxically made women and even good men who are actively seeking a great woman to forge a family more unhappy.
It is no coincidence that large and powerful countries all over the world are being confronted with a demographic winter. This phenomenon has many aspects, but one of the main causes is, without a doubt, the reluctance of young adults to have children and form stable, prosperous families built on values.
This heinous crime will not only destroy our societies from within, but may even generate (and in some ways already is generating) an open conflict between men and women that should not exist.
