Pentagon to launch website with declassified material on UFOs

The address of the page will be aaro.mil and will have photos, videos and documents on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).

Within their All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), the Pentagon is pushing an initiative to build public trust. This new website will publish declassified UFO material that will be recognized as public domain.

The site, whose address will be aaro.mil, will have photos, videos and declassified documents on solved cases of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), the way the government recognizes UFOs.

Pentagon spokesman Brigadier Gen. Patrick Ryder told a news briefing that the new website will provide all of this information to the public as they declassify the material and approve its release.

Ryder also commented that the page will have several sections that the public might find helpful. As a section of frequently asked questions, press releases, links to official reports and transcripts.

"The department is committed to transparency with the American people about AARO's work on UFOs," General Ryder said.

The launch of this new website comes at a time when UFO sightings and allegations about alleged secret federal government programs have generated public interest.

The website's announcement comes a few weeks after members of Congress asked the federal government for greater transparency about the information they obtain about UFOs.

The petitions came after three former military officers testified during a congressional hearing that the government has experimented with UFOs and even had contact with "non-human" biological remains at sites where unknown craft crashed.

The former officials who raised the controversy were David Grusch, a former official of the US intelligence services; David Fravor, former commander of the Navy; and Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot.

The most controversial statement was that of Grusch, who claimed that he even met colleagues who were injured while reverse engineering UFO technology.

Likewise, the former official affirmed that the government has been in possession of UFO technology since the 1930s and knows precisely where it is located.
