Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will star in 'Fantastic Four'

Marvel's superhero family movie will be released on the big screen on July 25, 2025.

The secret is finally out. After weeks of rumors, Marvel confirmed that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will star in "The Fantastic Four," the new superhero family movie that will hit the big screen on July 25, 2025.

Pedro Pascal will officially be part of 'The Fantastic Four'

Pedro Pascal will be in the movie. It was rumored that the Chilean actor might be involved but Marvel didn't seem to want to confirm the news until last week. On Wednesday, February 7, word got out that Pedro Pascal would play Mr. Fantastic. However, the news didn't come directly from the production company. Instead, SAG-AFTRA, the Hollywood actors' union, let it slip. After speaking to Pedro Pascal, they uploaded an article to its website that said the following:

Pascal recently wrapped production on Ridley Scott's highly anticipated upcoming film, 'Gladiator 2,' and will soon begin production on 'Fantastic 4' with Marvel Studios. Pascal also comes from starring opposite Bella Ramsey in 'The Last of Us,' the HBO series based on the video game of the same name that was renewed for a second season at the end of January.

Hours later, the sentence announcing Pascal's role in "Fantastic Four" disappeared. However, Director Matt Shakman shared one of the news stories that was written after the error, hinting that it might be real. Twenty-four hours later, the account was deleted and appeared to disprove the rumor.

On Wednesday, after months of rumors, it was finally confirmed that Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in the movie that Marvel Studios plans to release on July 25, 2025.

He won't be alone. The movie will also feature Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, while Jonathan Quinn will play Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will play Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Marvel hasn't announced who will play the villain, Doctor Doom. They also haven't revealed details about the plot except for the fact that the family will be astronauts who, due to an accident in space, get superpowers.
