Israelis have suffered one of the largest attacks since the Yom Kippur War. For days now, Israel has been facing the terrorist attack by Hamas that has left hundreds of victims of different nationalities. In the midst of the tragedy, more than 700 citizens have been massacred by Hamas. The State of Israel has emphasized the importance of remembering the atrocities that are being experienced, which is why we wanted to put a face to the victims of the terrorist attacks.

There are thousands of families and people who have become victims of the war caused by Hamas terrorists. Stories like that of Tamar and Yonatan, who were murdered with their sons Shachar and Arbel (6 years old) and Omer (4) in southern Israel. "An entire family wiped off the face of the earth. An inexplicable pain. ... "Savage and inhuman bloodthirsty terrorists," wrote the State of Israel on X (formerly Twitter).

Itay and Hadar Berdichevsky, 30, hid their 10-month-old twin children while terrorists infiltrated their home. They were brutally murdered and their children were alone for 12 hours until they were rescued by Israeli authorities. "Imagine the horror. Two terrified parents doing everything they can to save their children, who are now orphaned," said the State of Israel.

'The world needs to know what we are facing'
Another painful story was seen in a video published on social media in which the exact moment is seen in which parents watch terrorists execute one of their daughters while they hug their other two children. In the images, the children are heard asking their parents what is happening to their sister. "I wanted her to stay alive. ... Is there no way for her to come back?" asks one of the children.
Este es uno de esos vídeos que desearíamos no tener que compartir.
Una niña israelí fue ejecutada delante de sus hermanos y padres, que fueron secuestrados por el #Hamás.
Esto es injustificable.

The stories are endless: more than 700 have been killed in Israel and thousands are injured or missing. At least 260 bodies were found recovered by Israeli emergency services at one music festival site alone. The State of Israel explained that it debated whether to make the victims' stories and images public. However, it ultimately decided that "the world needs to know what we are facing."
The case of Shani Louk also went viral on social media. The young German woman who was present at a music festival is seen being cruelly displayed by terrorists. Currently, her mother is asking for help to find her because she does not know her whereabouts and current situation. Similar is the story of Noa, who was also at the festival when Hamas terrorists kidnapped her and took her from Israel to Gaza.
Noa was partying in the south of Israel in a peace music festival when Hams terrorists kidnapped her and dragged her from Israel into Gaza.

Same tactics, different names. Kill families, kidnap grandmothers. Desecrate bodies.

In the midst of tragedy, hope is also born
Fortunately, in the midst of tragedy, there have also been moments that fill us with hope. Authorities have published photos and videos of how they have managed to save citizens. For example, an elderly woman was rescued with her caregiver, and the terrorists were "neutralised."
🚨 GREAT NEWS: The elderly woman and her caregiver who were both taken hostage by Hamas have been rescued by Israeli forces.
Terrorists neutralised.

A video has also gone viral in which citizens say goodbye to those who are going to war. People are heard shouting messages of support and also throwing food and water to the troops. Likewise, there are long lines of those who have elected to donate blood for the injured. "Three hour line to donate blood in Jerusalem. Thank you to each and every one of you," detailed the State of Israel.

These have been painful moments, but faith and optimism remain. The country and much of the world are united with the same feeling: strength and resistance. "We know this is the darkest moment. We are with you. ... We are amazed by the strength and endurance [of our people]. We are united. We will persevere. The people of Israel live on," expressed the State of Israel in one of its latest updates on X (formerly Twitter).
Queridos israelíes,
Sabemos que este es el momento más oscuro.
Sabemos que no hay manera de describir el dolor que siente nuestro pueblo.
Estamos con ustedes. Estamos asombrados por su fuerza y resistencia. Estamos unidos.
Perseveraremos. El pueblo de Israel vive. 🇮🇱❤️
