A vehicle crashed into an elementary school this morning in Wimbledon, southwest London, U.K., leaving "several people" injured. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the incident is not being treated as a terrorist act and added that "an investigation is under way to understand the full circumstances of what has taken place."

The incident occurred in The Study Preparatory School at Camp Road, a primary school for girls from 4 to 11 years old. The facility is located just one mile away from the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, home of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
The incident reportedly left ten people injured
Although the police have not provided information on the number of victims, the Daily Mail reported that the incident reportedly left ten people injured, among them seven girls and two adults:
At least seven children and two adults are believed to have been injured following the serious collision at The Study Prep School on Camp Road just before 10:00 a.m.
The London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service crews moved to the scene to support the emergency services. As reported on social media:
